Boston Cyberarts is excited to support The Art Auction for Ukraine, an online fine art auction that aims to showcase the work of Ukrainian artists, both local and living in Ukraine right now, and fundraise money for two verified non-profit organizations helping the Ukrainian people. The auction will be live from Friday, July 15 - Sunday, August 14th, accessible via The Art Auction for Ukraine website.

The Art Auction for Ukraine is curated and organized by Daria Koshkina, with support from Boston Cyberarts and BarabásiLab at Northeastern University. 15% of fundraising will go to artists, and 85% will be distributed evenly between two verified non-profits providing important humanitarian aid to the Ukrainian people: Nova Ukraine and Razom for Ukraine. Many of the participating artists have chosen to not only donate their work, but also their portion of the funds. We hope you will consider supporting the auction as well.

PARTICIPATING ARTISTS

Artists featured in the auction work in photography, mixed-media, illustration and painting. They are Margarita Davydova, Bogdana Ferguson, Daria Filippova, Yulia Grabar, Alice Grishchenko, Vladyslav Kholodnyi, Lena Shkoda, Alina Sokulska, and Yelena Yemchuk among others.

ABOUT THE CURATOR

Daria Koshkina is an artist, illustrator, and designer. She is a BarabásiLab design team member, a graduate student in the Digital media program at Northeastern University, and a Hertfordshire University alumnus. Daria worked with United Nations Women and published her comics on Vice. Daria was born in Russia, and she is strongly opposing this war. She curated this auction to amplify Ukrainian artists' voices and fundraise for Ukrainians.

Work in the auction can be viewed now, but bidding with go live at 12pm on Friday July 15th and will close on Sunday August 14th at midnight.
