Infinite Entities: A Solo Exhibition with Anne Spalter

Exhibition: April 3rd 2020 - May 10th 2020

The Boston Cyberarts Gallery is pleased to present Infinite Entities - a solo show featuring the work of Anne Spalter. 

Spalter selects compositions from large (seemingly infinite) sequences of AI compositions as the basis for works that manifest as inflatables and works on paper. Using algorithms that train on imagery used in decades in her work, such as airplanes, ships, and highways, she then inputs her own art to create an unexpected space of new compositional ideas. Inspired by these, she is developing a large-scale inflatable creation that represents a space-ship-like form as well as what she dubs "Armageddon spheres"--inflated orbs that depict both apocalyptic and UFO-salvation-themed responses based on this same imagery.
