Curator Talk--Drawing with Code: Work from the Collection of Anne and Michael Spalter with Guest Curator George Fifield and Doug Dodds (Victoria and Albert Museum, London, Senior Curator, Word and Image Department)

Boston Cyberarts Festival Director George Fifield curates an exhibition at the deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum of the earliest computer prints and computer animation by the field's innovators. Curated from the Providence-based collection of Anne and Michael Spalter, Drawing with Code is one of the first museum exhibitions to broadly document this early period of new media art. Drawing with Code will feature computer-generated art from the 1950s to the mid-1980s alongside the more recent work of these early practitioners.The exhibition will be on view from  to coincide with the 2011 Boston CyberArts Festival.
