Radio Lab creator Jad Abumrad shares behind-the-scenes stories and excerpts from the program called “the most innovative show on radio" by public radio’s Ira Glass. Tonight's focus: stories and ideas about space and our endless fascination with looking up into that vast void. Listening to surprising sounds and look up at the simulated sky as you are transported to that fertile zone of speculative wonder that has made Radio Lab such a cult hit. Produced by WNYC and winner of the National Academies 2007 Communication Award for excellence in science communication, Radio lab is now heard on over 150 stations nationwide. $10 entrance fee |
